Grandson

Being present at the birth of my first grandchild was a wonderful experience. I've just come back from three weeks in Sweden where my daughter and her husband live on Lidingö. It was such an anxious time; would I make it to the birth? Would he be born while I was there? It is difficult being half a world away in Australia. The little boy co-operated beautifully. I had three days in Sweden during which I was able to take a whole lot of pregnancy photos and then he was born and I was able to spend two weeks enjoying cuddles and baby photography. What a champion! There is now another little Swedish/Australian boy in the world and I will enjoy every minute watching him grow up.
